SO WE WENT TODAY AND ROAD 40 MILES OF SOME SERIOUS TECHNICAL GOAT TRAILS. UP TILL THIS POINT I HAD ONLY RIDDEN FAST SEMI-TECHNICAL TRAILS WITH THE NEW BIKE. HERES WHAT I LEARNED TODAY. THIS BIKE IS ADVESTISED AT 268LBS AND UP UNTIL TODAY THE BIKE FELT VERY LIGHT. WE RODE 1ST GEAR MOSTLY ROCKY GOAT TRAILS AND YOU CAN FELL THE BIKES WEIGHT IN THESE CONDITIONS. THE BIKE DOES NOT STALL EASY. YOU CAN STALL IT BUT YOU HAVE TO PRETTY MUCH COME TO A STOP TO STALL IT. I HAD TO SOFTEN THE SUSPENSION COMPRESSION 4 CLICKS AND IT ACTUALLY WORKED WELL.
THIS BIKE HAS TREMENDOUS POWER. WOW YOU CAN LUG YOUR WAY THOUGH ANY THING.
THE BIGGEST THING I HAD TO GET USED TO THAT A 2 STROKE DOESN'T HAVE AND I'M HAVING A LITTLE BIT OF A HARD TIME ADAPTING TO IS ENGINE BRAKING EFFECT. I GOT BETTER DEALING WITH IT AS THE DAY WENT BY. IT'S STRANGE BECAUSE AS SOON AS YOU LET OFF THE GAS, YOU LOOSE ANY FORWARD MOMENTUM YOU HAD BUILT UP. THIS IS VERY NOTICEABLE AT VERY LOW SPEEDS.
THE ELECTRIC START ROCKS!!!!
ALL IN ALL I LIKE THE BIKE VERY MUCH, IT HAS TAKEN ALIITLE GETTING USED TO BUT IT'S A NICE BIKE.
